Dog Park
Pitton Cross Camping Dog Park
We’re excited to announce the opening of Pawhalla, our brand‑new dedicated dog park here at Pitton Cross Caravan Park — a safe, fully enclosed space where your four‑legged friends can run, play, and burn off some energy during your stay.
Designed with both dogs and owners in mind, Pawhalla offers:
- A secure fenced area for off‑lead fun
- Plenty of room for zoomies, sniffing, and socialising
- Clear, easy‑to‑follow rules to keep everyone safe
- A playful Viking‑inspired theme celebrating our Gower spirit
Whether your dog is a seasoned adventurer or just loves a gentle potter, Pawhalla gives them the freedom to enjoy their own little slice of holiday heaven.
As you leave the park, you’ll spot our new gate sign reminding you to pop your dog back on a lead before heading out onto the wider site.
Pawhalla is now open to all guests staying at Pitton Cross — come and explore, let the tails wag, and enjoy this brand‑new addition to our facilities.

We spent the May Day Bank Holiday at Pitton Cross Caravan & Camping Park, in our motor home, an excellent site.
The site is very well located for a visit to the Gower in Wales. The site has all the facilities that you would expect and all very well kept.
Try the on site Disc Golf Course.
There is a well stocked site shop. The staff are all very helpful and willing to answer all your questions.

A really lovely spot for a campsite with great access to plenty of walks.
We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by the friendly owner who gave us all the information we needed and took us to our camping spot. We were on a hard standing pitch.
The facilities were always spotless and cleaned daily. In fact the whole site was spotless. Lovely view of the sea and very quiet.
I am sure we will return.

Booked in at this site last minute
"Booked in at this site last minute. The site itself has wonderful sea views and a walk straight from the site down to the beach.
Facilities were good - with plenty of hot water. Owners were friendly and advised on the area and places to walk our dog.
The on site shop has all the basics you would need - and more! Had some good days out - including a fantastic walk along the fabulous Oxwich Bay beach, a must if you're in the area"

Excellent Stay
Great campsite! Sooo well kept and everything you need, and more.
Toilets and showers are spotless and loads of hot water. Dishwashing and laundry room likewise.
The shop is well stocked with food essentials, souvenirs, kites, camping stuff and more! The site itself is large and well laid out and even has frisbee golf en route to the coastal path. The manager/owner is very professional and very helpful.
Overall and excellent campsite and open all year too!!

A massive thank you
"We just wish to say a massive thank you for everything this week.
Midweek we asked to stay an extra night on Friday and the female staff member, sorry not sure of her name, was amazing.
We have stayed a few times and will definitely be back"

Warm Welcome
"Returned after several years to a warm and friendly welcome.
The family that runs this site cannot do enough of their guests.
Cannot wait to return to the most relaxing place to stay on The Gower, and only a stones throw from the best beaches in the area."

Welcoming and friendly staff
"As newbies to this camping malarkey, at least since we were in the Scouts and Guides,
Pitton Cross was a great introduction.
Welcoming and friendly staff who guided us to our pitch, which was level hardstanding
with grass to the side under the awning.
The facilities block had everything one could want, and the shop was well enough
stocked to cover any unplanned requirements.
A special mention for the cleaning staff who managed to keep the loos spotless
despite the campers' efforts to the contrary."

"We came to the Gower peninsula looking for a relaxing holiday and really found that at pitton cross the staff where very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome.
The site has no club poor loud music which was exactly what we wanted.
The pitches were a good size and we had a grass only pitch witch was well looked after,
it was very dog friendly with great walks from the site"

Quiet Site near coastal path
Site quiet when we stayed but everything clean and kept tidy.
The owners working hard on improvements and the Shepherds Hut area was being re-vamped.
We had a hard-standing pitch with ehu, lovely views over the fields down to the coast.
Toilets and showers were very well kept, and there are plenty of them. The shop has a good stock and is also a kite outlet.
There is a path from the site that leads you onto the Wales Coastal path and down to the beach.
The owners were super friendly and always around the site working away."
