Campsite Facilities, shop & reception

The Shop, Reception, and Gower Kite Shop are conveniently located near the entrance of Pitton Cross Caravan Park, Rhossili, with a dedicated parking area for easy access.

Inside the shop, you’ll find the Reception, where new arrivals can check in. Our friendly staff are always happy to assist and answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to welcoming you!

What We Sell

The shop is stocked with everyday essentials like milk, and bread (seasonal). We have local produce from meats to Welsh cakes to vegetables depending on the time of year.
If you enjoy fishing, we have frozen bait, fishing tackle, hooks, and more.
We have a bean-to-cup coffee machine offering a variety of takeaway hot drinks

Rhossili Gift Shop and Gower Kite Shop
We hold a variety of Welsh gifts and books on Gower’s history, landscape and people.
We have a large selection of children’s toys, including board and card games.

The shop stocks OS Maps of the area and Body Boards.
We have kites, wind socks and poles from leading brands HQ and Spirit of Air. For more information, visit the Kite Shop Page
At Pitton Cross Caravan Park we have a well stocked shop and for this reason, please be aware that we are unable to accept Supermarket deliveries here.

Amenities & Facilities

Shower & Toilet Block

Located at the top of the campsite, with separate Ladies’ and Gents’ facilities and a baby room with a bath in between.

Accessible Facilities

A disabled-access bathroom, renovated in early summer 2016.

Dishwashing & Laundry

A four-sink dishwashing area and a laundry room equipped with two washing machines and two tumble dryers.

On-Site Services

Visitor Information Room – Next to the shop, featuring leaflets on local attractions and free-to-use phone charging lockers.

Play Area

Revamped in 2012 with new equipment, including a team swing, slide, and seating for parents.

Stone Circle

Built in the late 1990s using local stone from the nearby village of Scurlage.

Ice Pack Hire

We offer standard-size ice packs for hire to keep your food and drinks cool during your stay.
Pricing & How It Works:

£1.00 deposit per ice pack (refundable).
20p hire fee per pack.
20p exchange fee for each fresh frozen pack.

You can exchange ice packs as often as you like. When you hire a pack, we provide a token—simply return both the token and ice pack to receive your deposit back.

* Please note: We are unable to freeze customers’ own ice packs.

"Booked in at this site last minute. The site itself has wonderful sea views and a walk straight from the site down to the beach.

Facilities were good - with plenty of hot water. Owners were friendly and advised on the area and places to walk our dog.

The on site shop has all the basics you would need - and more! Had some good days out - including a fantastic walk along the fabulous Oxwich Bay beach, a must if you're in the area"

Excellent Stay

Great campsite! Sooo well kept and everything you need, and more.

Toilets and showers are spotless and loads of hot water. Dishwashing and laundry room likewise.

The shop is well stocked with food essentials, souvenirs, kites, camping stuff and more! The site itself is large and well laid out and even has frisbee golf en route to the coastal path. The manager/owner is very professional and very helpful.

Overall and excellent campsite and open all year too!!

Pitton Cross was a great introduction.

Welcoming and friendly staff who guided us to our pitch, which was level hardstanding
with grass to the side under the awning.

The facilities block had everything one could want, and the shop was well enough
stocked to cover any unplanned requirements.

A special mention for the cleaning staff who managed to keep the loos spotless
despite the campers' efforts to the contrary."

"We came to the Gower peninsula looking for a relaxing holiday and really found that at pitton cross the staff where very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome.

The site has no club poor loud music which was exactly what we wanted.

The pitches were a good size and we had a grass only pitch witch was well looked after,
it was very dog friendly with great walks from the site"

The owners working hard on improvements and the Shepherds Hut area was being re-vamped.

We had a hard-standing pitch with ehu, lovely views over the fields down to the coast.

There is a path from the site that leads you onto the Wales Coastal path and down to the beach.
The owners were super friendly and always around the site working away."

Highly recommend this site

Fantastic camp site with clean facilities and the pitches are large too.

Within a good distance to the beaches and a few amenities a short drive away.

Views are also fantastic.Play area for kids which is an added bonus.

The staff there are very helpful.
