1 Pitch = 1 Tent, Caravan or Motor Home. Please book the number of pitches that you require. Email us if over 3 pitches.
Do you have a CONTINENTAL CARAVAN? Please tell us at time of booking.
Sorry, we are unable to take Twin Axle Caravans or Motorhomes due to the layout of our site.
5th wheel trailers sliding extensions can only open to the passenger’s side, no double-sided extensions 5th wheel trailers due to space.
From Mid-October there are only Hard Standing and Non-Electric tent pitches available.
Grass Electric pitches are available from mid May, subject to ground conditions.
All customers are asked to report to Reception/Shop on your arrival.
Pitches are available from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival and latest arrival is 9 p.m.
Pitches must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. Unless by prior arrangement.
Minimum number of nights bookable:
Spring: Easter Weekend - Friday 29th of March and Saturday the 30th of March is 2 nights minimum booking.
Spring Bank Holiday: Friday 24th of May to the 29th of May - 3 nights minimum. 30th of May to the 1st of June of 2 nights minimum.
Summer: From Sunday 2nd of June to 18th of July - 2 nights minimum on Friday and Saturday nights.
Summer: From Friday 19th of July to the 27th of August, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – 3 nights minimum.
Sunday to Wednesday – 2 nights minimum.
Autumn & Winter: There are no minimum nights.
Cancellation Policy
Less than 30 days before arrival, is loss of all monies paid. (No refund). Over 30 days prior to arrival, is loss of deposit only. A deposit equates to £50 per week, per pitch booked. You are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance cover in the event of cancellation. Please note deposits are not refundable (NO REFUNDS Due to weather). All bookings are non transferable
Arrivals - We are looking forward to meeting you at Pitton Cross Caravan Park.
Arrival are from 1.p.m.. on the day you arrive. When you arrive please check in at theshop/reception.
If you arrive and the reception is closed, please follow the instructions by the shop door.
The following day, please check into the reception after 9.15am
where you will be given your tent tag and windscreen sticker.
Departures -
Pitches must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
All pitches are allocated on arrival. Pitches are available from 1 p.m. and latest arrival is 9 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive after your due arrival date, you are still not able to check in or pitch up until 1 p.m. on the day you arrive.
Please park within the pitch markings. All caravans must pitch tail to hedge. Any deviation and you will be asked to move your tent, caravan or Motor home within the pitch boundaries. Please ensure that you display your car stickers and tent tags clearly at all times. We will not guarantee adjacent pitches. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the park whether booked or not and to ask anyone to leave at our discretion. Refund of the appropriate proportion of fees paid in advance shall be sufficient discharge of our liabilities.
Pitching Up Guide - Please pitch between the 2 white posts. Caravans pitch with tow ball to the road, this includes continental caravans (this is due to fire regulations), leaving at least 1 meter besides the caravan for water and waste containers.
With tents please ensure that your guidelines do not encroach on to a neighbour’s even if you are part of a group!
Cars – please park cars near the road side of the pitch – parking parallel to the road. To ensure that pitches stay in good condition for the next guest.
Our Camping Terminology - We charge by the berth/man/sleeping size of the tent, not per person.
1 berth tent is a 1 man/person tent, for 1 person.
2 berth tent is a 2 man/person tent, max 2 people.
3 - 6 berth tent is a 3 - 6/man tent/person, max 6 people.
7 - 8 berth tent is a 7 - 8 man/person tent, max 8 people.
Campervan is a VW T5* size vehicle.
*A Motorhome is classed as anything larger than the above. Maximum length of vehicle is 10 metres/33 foot.

**Shelter tents, Utility tents, and Gazebo (with or without sides) are classed as the same thing. Max size 3m x 3m.
***Pup Tents: maximum of 2 pup tents per pitch for 2 children in each pup tent, under the age of 15 yrs.
Maximum of 2 pup tents per pitch. The pup tents must not exceed the size guide of 7 ft x 5 ft (213 cm x 152 cm).
If they do exceed the size given, then the pup tent will be charged at full price of a normal tent.
One vehicle is included per pitch, your campervan or motorhome is included as your vehicle. This charge is for any additional vehicles up to a maximum 2 extra vehicles. The extra charge is for additional vehicle.
General Booking Rules - All bookings are taken on these conditions listed above and below.
A booking will not be taken without a deposit or full payment. A deposit of £50 per week, part of a week for each pitch booked during winter, spring, and early summer seasons only.
Spring Bank Holiday + Summer season, online bookings, and all bookings within 2 months/8 weeks before arrival are required to be paid in full.
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit or full payment. Default on the deposit will invalidate the booking.
Deposits are non-refundable and you are liable for the outstanding balance for the period booked. Any additional nights can be booked but are subject to availability.
Online Bookings - Only one pitch at a time can be booked online, if you need to book more than one pitch please telephone our reception on 01792 390593. Full payment is required at time of booking. There is a small fee of a £1 when booking online to cover the cost of booking online. This is applied at the end of the booking process and is non-refundable.
Group Bookings - Group Bookings are at our discretion. We are unable to take group bookings of more than 3 family pitches due to the layout of our site. Pitton Cross is a family site, We may ask for a behaviour bond of £25 per person if the group is 5 or more adults, payable on arrival ( not available in Summer) . All we ask is to follow our terms and conditions in the rest of this document. We do take school leavers aged 15 years and above at Pitton Cross Caravan Park, please email us to arrange a booking. Any under the age of 16, must be accompanied by at least 1 parent or guardians while staying on our site.
Any group booking, we would need confirmed numbers of pitches and full payment required at the time of booking.
We cannot guarantee adjacent pitches as all pitches are allocated on arrival.
All Groups must stop at the Reception/Shop before being shown down to the pitch, regardless of where their friends are pitched.
If you wish to bring a Duke of Edinburgh, walking, climbing, or surfing groups then please contact us directly to discuss any requirements. No Hen or Stag groups.
At Pitton Cross Caravan Park we have a well stocked shop and for this reason, please be aware that we do not accept Supermarket deliveries here.
If for any reason that you need a special delivery of a parcel to the caravan park then please contact us.
